The 7th Beijing Changrui Foundation rural teacher training was held from July 8 to 16, 2018 in Beijing. The program has been running since 2012. During this period, over 500 teachers from rural areas have traveled all the way from Chifeng City in Inner Mongolia, and Xinglong and Laiyuan Counties in Hebei Province, to attend the training, which aims to improve their teaching quality and teaching standards. 

This year, as well as covering the teaching syllabus of elementary schools, content around social engagement and personal development was also included. In the hope of broadening the teachers’ horizons, professionals from various sectors, including education, culture, economics and international relations, were invited to share their knowledge and stories.
